HOW TO CALCULATE THE COST OF YOUR KIT HOME

The most important consideration for pricing is the size of the home. So look through the "thought starter" plans shown on our website and decided that the size house you think will accommodate your needs. Let's assume you do that and decide module 9 (13.2 squares, 122.6 sq.m.) is about right. Don't worry if the house plans are nothing like what you want - we'll design your own unique plan with you. Suppose you also decided that the house is to be built on a concrete slab, you wanted a loft roof, a verandah on one side of the house and a 3.6 metre carport - then the cost of your lock-up kit house would be:

From Table I (Module 9, loft roof and slab floor)		$115,800
From Table 2 (Verandah to one side of Module 9 house)		$4,600
From Table 3 (3.6 metre carport for one verandah house)		$12,300

Note:

Prices above are for lock-up materials only (in pre-cut form) together with individually designed house plans and comprehensive construction manual which enables easy assembly. Internal timber frame walls are not part of kit materials (but can be supplied if required).
Slab floor kit prices do not include price of concrete slab.
Timber floor kit prices include all flooring materials but do not include cost of concrete footings.
Clerestory kit prices do not include clerestory hi-lite windows.
